MFG Analytics is a practice of Up Analytics LLC, led by Julian Bergquist. It builds manufacturing data systems for mid-size manufacturers and the sponsors who own them. One person leads every engagement and reads every email. This page says who that is and how the work runs.

01 · Who does the work

The person who reads the tables
writes the measures and answers the email.

Julian Bergquist is the principal. He has built data systems for 28 years and specializes in Infor CloudSuite Industrial (CSI, Syteline) and Global Shop Solutions, on Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Azure, and SQL Server. He reads the base tables himself: coitem_mst, job_mst, matltran_mst, site_ref, and the Uf_ fields on Syteline; JOB_HEADER through Actian Zen ODBC on Global Shop.

He leads every engagement. When a build needs more hands, he brings in a small team for that engagement and names them before it starts, as the conditions require.

02 · How an engagement runs

Audit, build, transfer.
In that order.

The audit is two weeks and $3,000, fixed, and ends in one of three recommendations: build the model, convert the ERP, or do nothing yet. If it recommends a build, the scope and price are in the report, and the report is yours whether or not you hire us next. The build runs in your tenant and your repository. Transfer is included: runbooks, working sessions, and a grade ninety days after handoff.

03 · What we will not sell you

The audit grade is the gate,
and it swings both ways.

No ERP licences, seats, or modules, no rented reporting portal, and no commission from anyone who sells those. No AI project before the underlying data is reliable. No general ERP implementation. If what you need is on this list, we will tell you in the first conversation and point you somewhere better.

  • Runs CSI/Syteline or Global Shop Solutions, or another ERP whose database can be reached
  • Important reports disagree, and it matters
  • Wants a model the internal team can operate after the engagement
